These terms govern your use of ngelenterprise.com and the NGEL apps,
operated by NGEL Global Enterprise LTD, registered in Mogadishu, Somalia. By using the
service you accept them.
1. What we provide
NGEL operates:
A marketplace where independent suppliers list goods for sale
Booking for hotels, flights, buses, car rental and apartments
Procurement and quotation services for business customers
For marketplace goods we act as the platform between you and the supplier. For travel and
accommodation we act as an agent between you and the hotel, airline or operator.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or over
The details you give us must be accurate, particularly delivery addresses and traveller names
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account
Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it
Travel bookings: names must match the passenger's travel document. Airlines
and hotels commonly refuse a booking whose name does not match, and corrections after issue
may not be possible.
3. Orders and prices
Prices are shown in the currency stated against each item and include any stated fees
Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown before you pay
An order becomes binding when we confirm it, not when you place it
If an item is priced or described in obvious error we may cancel and refund rather than supply it
Stock is not reserved until an order is placed, and an item may sell out first
4. Payment
Payment is by the methods shown at checkout, including mobile money
Where a payment is declared rather than taken automatically, the order is confirmed only after we have verified it
We do not store card numbers or mobile money PINs
Where a payment cannot be verified we will tell you and ask you to submit it again
5. Delivery
Delivery times given are estimates, not guarantees
Risk passes to you on delivery to the address you gave
If nobody can receive the goods at that address, further delivery costs may apply
Check goods on arrival and tell us promptly about damage or a wrong item
6. Returns and refunds
Returns are requested through your account and are reviewed by our team
Goods should be unused and in their original condition unless they arrived faulty
Where a return is approved, the refund is made by the method you paid with
Where a return is refused, we will tell you the reason
Travel and accommodation follow the cancellation rules of the hotel,
airline or operator concerned, which are shown before you book. Some fares and rates are
not refundable.
7. Suppliers on the marketplace
Suppliers are independent businesses. They are responsible for the accuracy of their
listings and for the goods they supply. We check suppliers before allowing them to sell and
will remove listings that break our rules, but we do not manufacture or inspect every item.
8. What you may not do
Use the service unlawfully, or to buy goods you are not permitted to buy
Give false details, or book travel in a name that is not the traveller's
Attempt to gain access to accounts or systems that are not yours
Interfere with the service, or extract its content in bulk by automated means
Resell access to the service without our written agreement
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
9. Our responsibility
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, but we do not promise it will be
uninterrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for
indirect losses — lost profit, lost opportunity, or losses arising from a delay outside our
control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Where a third party — a supplier, hotel, airline or operator — fails to provide what you
booked, we will help you pursue it, and where we hold your payment we will deal with it fairly.
10. Content you provide
Reviews and other content you post must be your own and must not be unlawful, misleading or
abusive. You keep ownership of what you write, and give us permission to display it on the
service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and significant
changes will be announced in the app. Orders already confirmed are governed by the terms in
force when they were confirmed.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and the courts of
Somalia have jurisdiction.
